His last new record was ’79’s Rock It, but at 90, the rock’n’roller will release his farewell LP, Chuck (Dualtone). Made in St Louis with his kids and road band, his guitarist son Charles Jr says it ranges from “hard driving rockers to soulful thought-provoking time capsules of a life’s work.”
