“Shooting Dan Auerbach (see p40) at The House of St Barnabas went great,” says photograph­er Oldham, “until I told him he couldn’t take his whiskey sour into the chapel – ‘Tellin’ me the monks didn’t get pissed?’” Tom has a new portrait exhibition from June 26-July 1 at the White Space in Great Newport Street, London.

Andrew Perry debuted in MOJO in 1997 writing about Nirvana. Lois Wilson

A contributo­r to MOJO since 1998, Lois Wilson is co-organiser of the #People Powered series of concerts and founder of the NHS 1000 Musicians social media campaign. She is also an avid 2 Tone fan and collects ’60s EPs and Motown records. Lois interviews The Selecter on p46.
