I find your behaviour very strange

I wanted to wish you a happy birthday and comment on something in your excellent 300th issue. In addition to The Kinks’ Village Green LP not charting in the UK, it’s the only Kinks LP not to appear on the US Billboard Top 200 album chart. But I’m not sure which is more surprising – the fact that VG did not chart or the fact that excellent albums such as Something Else and Arthur actually did. They had no airplay, no hit singles and, in the case of the former, no band on the road to promote it.
