Sonic Temple is not – as the band struggled to find a permanent rhythm section partner for long-suffering bassist Jamie Stewart. Four drummers feature on this 5-disc ST: Eric Singer (ex-Black Sabbath) on the first demo session, and Bob Rock bandmate Chris Taylor on the second. Mickey Curry (Bryan Adams; Tom Waits) plays on ST itself; while Spanish Gold is from a post-album demo with Matt Sorum (above), who joined in ’89 for the Sonic Temple tour.
