No man, seriously. Am I weird?

-

On a recent visit to the Glenfield Hospital, Leicester, I was bemused at being confronted by a large oil painting of John Anthony Helliwell of Supertramp in all of his 1970s glory. There was no information attached (I really am sad enough to have recognised the subject), but the painting was dated 1996 and firmly screwed to the wall so had obviously been there a good while. None of the staff have the faintest idea where it came from, when it arrived or why it is there, and none of them had heard of Supertramp, but as a leading coronary care unit they perhaps have more important matters to worry about. Have any other readers happened upon bizarre, random placings of portraits of obscure musicians of yesteryear? The bass player from Chicory Tip, the drummer from Sailor, anyone?
