WHAT WE’VE LEARNT
● The Catalyst opened in 1966, serving coffee and hosting poetry readings until 1969 when it became a nightclub. Young has played the club 22 times, mostly with Crazy Horse, since 1975.
● Way Down In The Rust Bucket includes live premieres of six songs from Ragged Glory. Also played on-stage that night for the first time ever: Zuma’s Danger Bird and Re-ac-tor’s Surfer Joe And Moe
The Sleaze.
● The night before the Rust Bucket show, Young played with Crazy Horse for his own 45th birthday party at a restaurant in Woodside, California, closing the 20-song marathon with The Losing End (When You’re On) from 1969’s Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere.
