● Squid love being on the Warp label. Says Judge: “I’m still pinching myself. I grew up with Aphex Twin, Boards Of Canada and Flying Lotus, and to be labelmates with people like that, and to have the Warp logo a millimetre away from our band name, is totally surreal.”

● “I’m not gonna go for Phil Collins,” says Judge, when asked who is his favourite singing drummer. Instead, he cites Cold Pumas’ Patrick Fisher and Zach Choy from Crack Cloud. “They were quite Krautrocky,” he says of the latter. “I remember looking at their drummer who sang and thinking, Cool.”
