Two long-form minimalist works from this 70-yearold sailor/artist/ editor/musician. The first uses woodwind to recreate the soundscapes of a sea journey (foghorn cries, the dizzying flights of birds, air blowing through the sails). For the second, recorded out on the mighty Pacific Ocean, the ship becomes the instrument, emulating synth burbles, amp feedback and ghostly choirs.
