The two would co-write songs including Rough Kids, Upminster Kid and Crippled With Nerves, and Hardy would appear on the Kilburns’ recordings released as Wotabunch! in 1977. By this time Dury was leading the Blockheads, but would continue to write with Hardy, who later became a carpenter.
