The singalong, runaway train groover from Workingman’s Dead became one of their most popular songs. This version, like its spiritual twin Truckin’, comes from the run of April ’71 shows that were compiled on Ladies And Gentlemen…; an especially soulful lead vocal from Garcia, for good measure.
