A flexible vocal stylist, her often wordless textures bounce off George Crowley’s robust tenor sax, Alcyona Mick’s rippling keys and Tim Giles’s stuttered beats amid slow-burn experiments Modulo 7 and Doors, adding emotional heft to a set packed with off-centre pleasures and subtle delights.
