Combat Rock/The People’s Hall has a bonus 7-inch/stream featuring The Beat’s Ranking Roger toasting over Rock The Casbah and Red Angel Dragnet. The recordings were made at Marcus Studios in Bayswater in early 1983, when, according to a 2011 YouTube comment left by Roger, who died in 2019, “Mick was with me and a couple of engineers. We had the original 24-tracks and took the vocal out. It was not allowed to be let out to anyone, although I gave the late John Peel a copy. You could say it was a demo waiting for approval.”
