Each square is 14 x 14cm (5 x 5 "). Finished blanket measures 90 x 132cm (35 x 52") After a long, dark winter, this colour-popping blanket is a welcome ray of sunshine. Drape it over the back of your sofa for the last of those chilly nights, then as the weather gets warmer and the evenings get lighter, wrap it around you and venture out to the garden.
Mandy’s used popcorn stitch in three shades of yarn to create the pretty flower-like motifs in the centre of each square. Follow the instructions in the abbreviations if you’ve never tried this technique before, and count your stitches at the end of each round to make sure you’ve worked the correct number.
