Handmade cards are irresistible treasures – beautiful pieces of art in their own right. They sit so close to my to heart. I make, collect, and run a campaign about them and now I’ve even written a book, House of Cards, on them too. Top designers join me on a mission to banish e-cards to the cyber graveyard, because nothing beats the unexpected joy of sifting through bills to discover a handwritten card. Whether you fancy learning a new medium, dream of turning your hobby into a business, or simply prefer to admire wonderful designs, the book has something for everyone. As those who follow the Just a Card campaign know, there’s so much more to cards than just pretty pictures. Every time you buy ‘just a card’, you’re supporting our wonderful creative community and keeping artists in business. So roll up your sleeves, create the keepsakes of tomorrow, and spread the handmade love. Oh, and it’s my birthday on 4th July – don’t forget my card!
