Be­gin with four strands of cord. Mak­ing sure to leave 1cm ( at the top, tie three square knots in a row. You can tie a berry knot us­ing a larger quan­tity of cords sim­ply by us­ing the two most outer cords on ei­ther side as the lead cords and gath­er­ing the other cords in be­tween the square knots. You’ll need to do this when fol­low­ing the macramé clutch bag tu­to­rial in this is­sue.

You will now feed all of the right-hand tails of cord through the right hand loop that you left at the top in Step 1. Do the same for all the tails on the left. Now pull tight to cre­ate the berry shape. Fi­nally, us­ing the two most outer cords on ei­ther side, tie an­other square knot to se­cure your berry knot.
