There is always a certain amount of ambition at Team Hard, but Tony Gilham’s operation always delivers. It has expanded to four cars this season and has revised its VW CCS and has recruited backroom staff to improve its chances.

The team took a step forward in 2017 by regularly running in the top 10, and the arrival of engineer Geoff Kingston from Speedworks, where he helped oversee Tom Ingram’s charge to the Independents Trophy, will mark another step forward for the Kent team.

Reigning Clio Cup champion Mike Bushell joins Jake Hill, Michael Caine and newcomer Bobby Thompson in the line-up, and team boss Tony Gilham is brimming with confidence.
