This was the breakthrough. Qualifying on the front row helped, and he was swiftly into a lead that he wasn’t going to lose (despite a scare with the officials). Race two was even more impressive with 75kg of ballast aboard and some pressure. Race three was going to be tough from 10th and a maximum load of lead, and he finished 17th.
