Rally2 decided

Class M5, for the most powerful non-historic cars, was also the place to decide overall spoils in the new Rally2 Championship. It was a sporting three-way contest and while Phil Burton and Mal Capstick took the class on the event, the championship title went to the Escort Mk2 of David Hutchinson/jeff Garnett. Both crews were disappointed when a sick engine put the BMW E30 of Mike Wolff/mark Twiname out on Saturday morning.
