Grand prix cars from the 1950s and 1960s will take to the streets of Dorking on Sunday October 21 to honour the memory of the Rob Walker Racing Team.

Up to nine cars from Rob Walker will parade around his home town centre between 1000hrs to 1600hrs. All of the cars taking part will have a personal or historic racing link to Walker’s team, which was based in nearby Pippbrook.

The Rob Walker Racing Team was founded in 1953 and entered grand prix cars until 1970, notably for Stirling Moss and Jo Siffert. Moss won seven F1 races in Walker’s Cooper and Lotuses.
