Linnemann to be the first to blood the Olsbergsmse Honda Civic in Rallyx Nordic
European rallycross Supercar racer Ulrik Linnemann will become the first driver to race an Olsbergsmse-built Honda Civic Coupe in Europe, at the final round of Rallyx Nordic at the new Tierp circuit near Stockholm this weekend.
Linnemann will use the event to assess the car ahead of potentially swapping from his ex-marklund Motorsport Volkswagen Polo for next season.
“I have chosen to participate in this race because, by already testing a car better than my own Polo, I felt like it was the best possible way to prepare for next season,” he said. “I haven’t decided yet which championship I will be participating in for the next season, but the Rallyx Nordic 2019 calendar is interesting. It is very cool to be the first person to race the Honda Civic in Europe.”
Linnemann won his home round of Rallyx Nordic in Denmark this year in the wet.
