Ward to sell Fiesta but has plans for Enduroka
Classic Stock Hatch title runner-up Marcus Ward intends to take a year off from competitive racing in 2019 and sell his Ford Fiesta XR2I that he competed in this season.
Ward plans to sell his Fiesta in order to take a break next year due to the time and money required to compete in the 750 Motor Club championship, and instead will consider entering the new Enduroka series for enjoyment.
“Sell the car and have a break – that’ll be nice,” Ward said of his intentions. “We’ll have a little bit of a break over the winter and take a year off.
“We’ve got the intention of racing the Enduroka series, literally just for a laugh, purely because it would be nice to go out just to go out and actually have some fun all the time rather than have to worry about scraping a point here, point there, getting the car squared up for the next round. It’s a huge investment of time and money.”
