Historic Sporting Trials to encourage rookies with new initiative
Newcomers to Historic Sporting Trials are being offered an ‘arrive and drive’ package from £500 per day by trials ace Ian Wright.
The multiple trials champion has put together a package for HSTA events that covers entry fees, car preparation and delivery and an experienced driver to act as a tutor and passenger for the day. Packages will be tailored to the driver’s level of experience.
“Drivers with little or no experience will be able to benefit from their knowledge and have a mentor on hand for the whole day,” said Wright, who will supply a Ford-engined Cannon from his base in Kent.
