RALLY CAR OF THE YEAR

M-sport has been at the top of its game over the last two seasons, with multiple champion Sebastien Ogier at the controls of one of its Ford Fiesta WRCS.

Despite a lack of works backing, the Cumbrian team has kept Ford at the very front of the World Rally Championship chase, and Ogier held off two rivals to bring the Fiesta home in top spot. Although the Frenchman is leaving to rejoin Citroen, the combination signed off on a real high.

Collecting the award, Wilson said: “We want to be in the WRC at the highest level, and there are a lot of things to sort out. We will miss Sebastien, we have had an incredible two years but it is time to regroup and see what we can do.”
