Appendix K series to grow next season

Eight events covering a mix of sprint and pitstop races have been unveiled for the second season of the Equipe Pre ’63 series for Appendix K FIA sportscars.

First launched for the 2018 season, the new series rapidly gained support and next year’s calendar takes in the grand prix circuits at Silverstone and Brands Hatch.

John Pearson from Equipe Classic Racing said: “The first season surpassed all our expectations, achieving an average of 27 cars per race, which is a fantastic result when you consider just how many options there are for racing these cars. Early indications for 2019 point to bumper grids and close racing.”
