Autosport International lifts the lid on the excitement to come
Birmingham might not be to everyone’s taste, but the National Exhibition Centre is the place to be this weekend for Autosport International. All of motorsport’s great and good will be there, and it is the chance to whet the appetite until the tracks and stages are alive again.
What I particularly enjoy at the event is the promises that are put on the line. New driver and team combinations will be revealed, and there will be bold prophecies about the potential in the season ahead. The excitement levels reach fever pitch, but it is always worth taking some with a pinch of salt...pop by the Kwikfit British Touring Car Championship presented by Motorsport News stand in Hall 3 to hear the tin-top aces put it on the line.
The launch of the World Rally Championship on Saturday will be the first chance that the public have had to be part of the official reveal. The category’s stars will be available for fans to meet and share the prospects for the campaign to come.
