AQUADOR 25 CE
BU ILT 2011 PR ICE £69 ,950
Finland, with its achingly beautiful archipelago, northern climate and boat-mad populace, is ground zero for all weather, go anywhere, go any time boats. Based on the Aquador 25 Cabin, the upgraded 25CE is the perfect example of a boat that works brilliantly at any time of year. INTERIOR At first glance, the 25CE is not a conventional layout. How many other 25-footers have three doors into the wheelhouse – twin side doors and the main one from the aft cockpit? Inside you’ll find two bench seats facing each other behind the helm and navigator chairs. The galley and heads are on the lower deck behind a forward cabin with vee berths that infill to create a double. But it gets stranger. There are two more berths beneath those bench seats, and to access them you hinge up the entire floor! It means you have four permanent beds that you can leave made up and still use the seating – very rare for a 25-footer! Open the two side doors and the twin sliding roof sections to bring the outside in. EXTERIOR Deeply bulwarked side decks that encircle the whole vessel make this an extremely easy and safe boat to crew. There is no permanent seating in the cockpit, you’ll need to use loose folding furniture, but the flip side to that is fantastic engine access. Like the interior, the impression is one of high quality that is built to last.
PERFORMANCE
A 300hp Volvo Penta D4 gives plenty of shove up onto the plane and winds the Aquador 25CE out to a mid 30-knot top speed, so it will cruise quietly at 25 knots.
SEAKEEPING
That Scandinavian heritage shines through in the sea keeping just as much as in the accommodation, with its capable dynamics.
