RIVA BY MOVITRA SUNGLASSES

Riva launched its Riva Boutique line of branded accessories a couple of years ago selling everything from desk lamps to mobile phone cases. But rather than simply attaching a Riva badge onto existing products, all Riva Boutique products link to its boats, so the deck lamp is in the shape of a classic Riva searchlight and the phone cases feature mahogany and maple. The same is true for the sunglasses. Made in Italy and produced by Movitra, they have arms that are shaped like the keel of a boat and decorative details based on the air intakes of the classic Ariston. Best of all, the nose bridge incorporates a swivel which means that when folded, the lenses are protected on both sides by the arms, a really neat touch. The lenses themselves are polarised Carl Zeiss and there is a choice of two sizes and black or white coloured frames.
