WHISPERPOWER ION POWER BASIC

Whisperpower is democratising its range of lithium-ion batteries with a new Ion Power Basic range. Available in 50Ah and 100Ah sizes, these can replace traditional lead acid batteries, bringing with them a wealth of advantages. Some of the key benefits are long service life (typically three times longer) and lack of memory effect (where a battery that is only used from full to half charge eventually ‘forgets’ it has the other half of charge).

The range is also light and compact. The batteries are designed so that 100% of the battery capacity can be used. In addition, the output voltage is constantly stable and the peak power remains high even if the battery is partially or almost completely discharged (a flat charge-discharge curve).
