JOBE INFINITY SERIES

-

We’ve seen inflatable platforms that you can use to increase the real estate of your boat at anchor before, but the new Infinity Series from Jobe Watersports (better known for its inflatable paddle boards and tow toys like bananas and doughnuts) has a few extra nifty features to help it compete.

The standard platform is a 4m x 2m inflatable called Infinity Island. It has four ballast bags for stability, 10 D-rings to allow you to connect it to your boat (via thick transom bumpers to stop it getting stuck under the bathing platform) other platforms and accessories.

Using heat bonded technology, it’s constructed from layers of PVC and base cloth and topped by a non-slip patterned

EVA Deckpad. You can mount sun loungers on it that recline from a seated position to completely flat and add a swim ladder.

But perhaps the most interesting item is what Jobe labels its Infinity Pool. It’s a 4m x 4m platform that is just a walkway edge, leaving almost all of the centre open to create a sea water swimming pool. It immediately creates a reassuringly safe environment for children, who can cling to the edge to avoid getting pulled away by currents. Better still, you have the option of adding a 2m deep net (held in shape by weights) that will keep the jellyfish and other undesirables at bay. You can even get mooring accessories to enable your jet skis or paddle boards to be berthed alongside it creating a mini marina for your water toys. PRICE from £1,799.99
