Davida can produce bespoke paint jobs. They also make limited ‘fun-runs’ – just take a look at this beauty! If you feel a lively design helps you be seen on the road then this one certainly fits that bill! Friends and family love it and I’ve had fellow bikers nod and smile at the lights! Stunning, deep, rich paint with vibrant colours. And those Stars and Stripes! VERY Captain America!

This was bought as (part of) an anniversary present; it was a sale item at the end of the production run, so I had no choice as to whether studs were fitted (they weren’t). So to give my eyes some wind protection a Davida GOV visor was purchased.

The Jet is Davida’s first ECE 22.05 licensed helmet and like the Ninety-Two, it is a snug fit. After years of wearing full-face, it felt tight (I can’t slide sunglasses on), but now I’m used to it, it’s comfy. With it on, I can’t hear a word anyone says to me! It’s stable, and the GOV visor does a really effective job of keeping the wind out of my eyes (you slip the strap through a goggle retainer strap, but it hasn’t moved an inch, slid up or down). RRP is £399 for a production run in ‘Cosmic Flake’ paint like this (£278 to £319 for standard paint, depending on the pattern), with the GOV visor another £40 (but it has been on sale at £29.50).
