The Retro is a simple, classic bomber style jacket which looks great when riding and when off your chosen form of two wheeled transport. The striped detailing around the wrists, neck and down the front of the jacket complete the classic retro style. It comes with a fixed waterproof lining, a removable thermal lining, large usable inner and outer pockets and a five piece armour set. The armour is located in the elbows, shoulder and back and is approved to CE Level 2.

A really nice feature for a jacket in this price bracket is the addition of two belt loops stitched to the inside of the jacket that are designed to be looped around a belt on the rider’s trousers to stop the jacket from riding up. Nice, but with the jacket being only waist length, it means in the heaviest of downpours you really do need high-waisted waterproof trousers on or you’re going to end up with a wet midriff. Other than that, The Black Retro makes a well-priced urban jacket and should not be discounted when looking due to its price – and it comes in wide range of sizes and colours.
