We’ve just been sent details of some brilliant new motorcycle stands from Dynamoto. They’re clever bits of kit, which work like traditional paddock stands – but come with multidirectional wheels, meaning you can shift your bike around with ease.

Interestingly, Dynamoto is the brainchild of three Australian motorcycling mates who needed safe, quick and easy storage solutions for their bikes between rides – and wanted to get bikes out of the garage and on the road quicker, and with less fuss.

Designer Stephen Mcguinness said: “It began as a way of solving my own personal problem. I wanted access to my bike to be quick and easy, and often got frustrated turning it in a tight parking space. Preparing my bike for a ride was difficult, and turned me off spur of the moment rides. It was easier just jumping in the car.”

Mcguinness added: “Where you step off your bike is no longer important with Dynamoto. Thanks to the patented multi-directional movement, you can quickly and easily move your motorcycle in any direction on your own to get it out onto the road or work on maintenance without scratching it.

“The multi-directional wheels mean that you can glide your bike into whatever position you like, instead of having to manoeuvre it by wheeling and wrestling it the old-fashioned way.”

The first concept came to fruition back in 2012, and in 2016 the brand launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise awareness (and capital). Since then, it’s made a name for itself across Australia and the U.S.A – and now it’s finally available in Europe.
