Sidi Rex Boots

Sidi has just unveiled its new top-of-the-line Rex race boots - which have been developed using research, laboratory tests, on track testing, and feedback from Sidi’s MotoGP riders.

And all the hard work seems to have paid off, with the new Rex boots crammed full of a range of unique and innovative features to help keep you safer, and more comfortable, out on track. The highly technical, class-leading sport boots are constructed from a Technomicro base, and come equipped with Sidi’s own exclusive Tecno-3 Push Closure System which eliminates the need for traditional buckles and laces. Instead, the boots are secured by three separate, adjustable steel cable closures – comprised of a circular dial and push button which allows the dial’s arm to be lifted and rotated for a tighter fit. Regarding comfort, the boots come with elastic panels in the front and rear to help flexibility, a nylon inner sole with removable arch support pad, a heel cup, and a DuPont® polymer toe shift pad.

The new Sidi Rex Boots also work to limit lateral movement, featuring a single ankle support brace which work together with the boots internal and external ankle joints to help offer additional support. That’s not all, the bottom of the ankle brace is also equipped with air vents which can be operated using a straightforward button – to help keep your feet cool. The Rex’s toe sliders also feature a vent that is operated using a sliding mechanism, which is located towards the front of the boot.
