It goes without saying, but I will mention it anyway, that riders are spoilt for choice when it comes to choosing a leather jacket. It is a subjective matter, with style posing as much of a problem as substance and safety. With different leathers, different cuts, pockets and with or without removable inner linings, you could find yourself going through a whole store rack before deciding on one that suits you in all departments. So let me help. I have been wearing the Daytona 2 jacket for a while, and I really like it. Yes, I have others in my wardrobe, but for a casual, lean look, the Daytona is hard to beat. Constructed of premium buffalo leather with 100 per cent Polyester lining, it offers natural abrasion resistance and is backed up by safety stitching in the shoulders and elbows, while a full complement of D3O armour is included as standard at the elbows, shoulders and back. It features two handwarmer and two chest pockets, and the detachable zip-in thermal liner with padding has a Velcro closure phone pocket and another zipped Napoleon pocket. So, what you have here is a three-season jacket that can cope with most weather conditions. Other features include a soft Neoprene collar and mesh liner, specifically designed with rider comfort in mind, central zipper fastening with popper fastened closure, and adjustable sleeve zips. It also has a short zipper at the back, should you want to attach the jacket to a pair of Richa jeans.
