DON’T GO TO SLEEP ON THE JOB

People always ask me how to get their pictures published and I always tell them the same thing: shoot something that no one else has a picture of. In every TT race there are lots of dramatic moments, moments that determine who will win or lose the race. You have to stay sharp and be ready

with your camera to capture one of those moments if it happens in front of you. If it does and you get it in the bag you will almost certainly see your photograph in a paper the next

morning! Guy Martin’s spectacular Senior TT crash was captured brilliantly by a chap at Ballagarey and his images

have been reproduced all over the world since.

In 2008 it was an amateur photographer who caught the moment John McGuinness’s chain broke at

Ramsey when he was leading the Senior.
