DON’T SHOOT THE SAME THING OVER AND OVER AGAIN

-

There is nothing as boring as having to sit through somebody’s slide show of 250 pictures of bikes going around

the same corner. Every picture is almost exactly the same, just the bike and rider vary, and your mates will be fast asleep after the first 10. It doesn’t even matter how spectacular the

picture is, if you have 50 of the same jump it dilutes the impact of your best balls-out snap. Always think variation. Shoot candids around the pits, go to different corners and jumps, trek up the Mountain and shoot the wide open spaces and little white walls, climb a tree, beg permission to get into a friendly resident’s garden, shoot out of someone’s bedroom window... do whatever it takes to make your pictures different and

varied.
