Touring in Wales with a twist

Touring is great, but touring with an experienced guide and an accomplished rider trainer can be even better, and really improve the riding of those in the group.

Maja is a motorcycle tour guide in Wales, and a RoSPA advanced rider. She has joined forces with Neil from Jewell Bike Training, a motorcycle training coach that holds all top advanced motorcycle riding certificates that a civilian can get so you can be assured you’re in good hands.

Between the two of them, they’ve come up with a unique offer where the riders get to experience amazing roads and vistas whilst having their riding assessed by Neil. He records the ride with commentary, and offers a one-to-one feedback on the day. What better way to discover Wales whilst improving your riding, too.

The offer is completely tailored to the group, and the route design takes into account the level of experience riders have. The maximum size of the group is six riders to ensure sufficient attention to each rider on an individual basis, whilst the rest of the group follows Maja, exploring new roads. Coffee and cake stops are planned ahead, as well as a lunch stop where the riders can spend time talking about their experiences, adventures and learning path to becoming a better, safer and smoother rider.

The day costs £500 for a group of up to six riders, so the more really is the merrier, as the cost gets split between the riders. For groups or individuals coming from further away a multi-day trip can be designed that will include organising accommodation, routes and training days, as required.
