Vandoorne’s wait

The Haas F1 team will not pick its 2017 driver line-up until after September’s Italian Grand Prix. Romain Grosjean has scored all 28 of the team’s points since it joined F1 at the beginning of the season, with team-mate Esteban Gutierrez having endured the bulk of the team’s mechanical issues. Haas recently gave Ferrari junior and GP3 series leader Charles Leclerc a run out in first practice during the British Grand Prix. Alongside its two existing drivers, is understood Leclerc is in contention for one of the seats.
