Mclaren’s aim
Mclaren chief operating officer Jonathan Neale says the team would be disappointed if it only finished fourth in this year’s Constructors’ Championship. The team finished just sixth in the teams’ race last year, but that was a big step up from the ninth place it slumped to in 2015, its first campaign back with Honda power. “You’ve got to aim high, but right now I would be disappointed if we were fourth,” said Neale. “That’s probably the pragmatist’s view, but you don’t make progress as pragmatists. We want to win, and we want to win sooner rather than later.”
