Lotus 49 (chassis R10)
The only car to have won the Monaco Grand Prix twice, with Graham Hill in 1968 and 1969. It will run in ‘highwing’ specification as it raced in 1968 and will be driven by
Graham’s son, Damon.
BMW E36-judd
The stunning F1 Judd V8-powered BMW hillclimb car is run by Joerg Weidinger in honour of the late Georg Plasa and will be one of the fastest, and best sounding, cars of the weekend.
Matra MS80
A rare public appearance by a Matra MS80 will honour Jackie Stewart’s 1969 F1 title in the Cosworth-powered Grand Prix car. JYS will take the wheel for an emotional re-union, 50 years on.
Porsche 917
The stunning 1970 Le Mans-winning 917 will be on hand to be driven by the remarkable Richard Attwood, 49 years on from his part in
Porsche’s first Le Mans victory.
Mclaren MP4/15
As part of the celebration of Monaco Grand Prix winners, Mika Hakkinen will drive the MP4/15 from the 2000 season when he partnered David Coulthard in the Mclaren team.
Lancia Delta S4
From the height of rallying’s crazy Group B era will be the fearsome Delta S4 from 1985. Britain’s Parisdakar contender Harry Hunt will be on driving duty.
Lotus 38 (chassis R7)
After an extensive restoration, this former Indy 500 car was raced by Al Unser (1966) and Jim Clark (1967). The Stp-liveried car will be driven by Clark and Lotus fan Nick Fennell.
Mclaren M8D
The M8D was Mclaren’s 1970 Can-am car and, sadly, the car that claimed the life of Bruce Mclaren. Current F1 drivers Lando Norris and Carlos Sainz will try to tame the beast on the Goodwood hill.
Lola T90
Former Indy 500 winner Dario Franchitti will take the wheel of a very special Indycar, the 1966 Lola T90. In period, Graham Hill took Indy victory in ’66 in one of three T90s in the race.
Mercedes W165
The W165 grand prix car raced just once, in the 1939 Tripoli Grand Prix when it took a 1-2 on the high-speed African track. Jochen Mass and Karl Wendlinger are due to drive this rare machine.
