SORDO REJOINS HYUNDAI FOR RALLY PORTUGAL

Dani Sordo will replace Craig Breen in Hyundai’s factory

WRC line-up in Portugal.

The move, which had been expected as part of the Spaniard’s car-sharing programme with Breen, will hand Sordo his first World start since January’s Monte Carlo Rally and his first alongside new co-driver Borja Rozada.

Sordo is an expert on the stages around the Fafe region, where part of Rally Portugal is based and won the Portuguese championship Rallye Serras de Fafe in 2019.

Thierry Neuville and Ott Tanak complete the works Hyundai entry in Portugal with Oliver Solberg and Ole Christian Veiby driving for its WRC2 squad.
