Hugh Price bags a Chevron B16

Chevron enthusiast Hugh Price is the proud new owner of the Chevron

B16 previously owned and raced by Jamie Boot.

The car was a continuation chassis built by Vin Malkie. Former Le Mans racer Price sold his ex-Derek Warwick Chevron B38 Classic Formula 3 car in order to acquire the sports racer.

“I’ll do some Thundersports races with it,” said Price who previously owned and raced a Chevron B21 sportscar.

The BMW M10 engine in the B16 has a limited number of miles left on it before a routine rebuild is due, so Price will probably do one race this season before a fuller programme next year.”
