CLASSIC SPEED SERIES IS GO

The 12-round Classic Speed Championship opened at Prescott recently with a field of 30 pre-’77 saloon and sportscars and pre-’72 racing cars. Although primarily based on a handicap system, the quickest drivers in the opening round were Andy Tippett (Brabham BT30X), Josh Sadler (Porsche 911RS) and Simon Braithwaite (Ford Escort Mk1), pictured above. Five of the 12 rounds will be run at Prescott.
