The engine was lacking

“The Pilbeam-designed P201 was a good chassis with good brakes. However, mechanically, the engine was lacking. It felt 100bhp down on the DFV that I’ve been driving before. It was very sad. It was 100 horsepower down, but also totally unreliable and, sadly, I didn’t finish either GP. I was way off the pace even though I over drove the car trying to make up for the lack of power.”
