Coles claims glory

Teenager Alex Coles has won the

BHC Cup within the British Hillclimb Championship. The class based competition for drivers outside the main championship was taken by the Plymouth youngster in a fantastic season in his Formula Ford Van Diemen RF86. Despite not being able to drive on the road yet, Coles handled the single-seater superbly and outscored Johnathen Varley’s

GWR Predator by two points in the final reckoning.
