My Weekly Special - - The Complete Guide To Honey -

When you hear the term “bee bread”, a lovely picture of bees baking tiny loaves comes mind but bee bread is actually a fermented pollen mixed with some bee saliva and then sealed with a drop of honey. The bee bread is used as a nutrient source for bee lar vae and newlyemerged worker bees. Most bee bread is har vested from hives, but it is possible for us to make it ourselves using frozen pollen and a fermentation process. Bee bread is said to be a great source of nutrients and is used for its antioxidant, antimicrobial and stressrelieving proper ties. However, steer clear of bee bread if you know or suspect that you are allergic to pollen.
