It’s A Wonder ful Life was released at Christmas in 1946. “It captured what Christmas is about,” said Jimmy at the time. “There’s a guy who is feeling so low that he wants to end it all. Then he is shown that life can be much better and he gets into the Christmas spirit and it really saves his life. It has a lot of laughs and a lot of tears – just like Christmas itself.”
