Enchanted Parks, Northumberland

The theme for Gateshead’s Enchanted Parks in Northumberland this year is Lost And Found. A team of talented artists have been commissioned to transform Saltwell Park into a magical wonderland of fabulous lights and colours, with performers and sound effects bringing it all to life. They call it an “after-dark arts adventure in an atmospheric setting” and every year, the park morphs into an enchanted spectacle of mystery and wonder. Light installations include projected images, glowing animals, special effects, illuminated scenes and street performances using light. Artistic creations are strategically placed for maximum impact – prepare to be amazed. Enchanted Parks takes place from December 4-9, 2018.
