HILARIOUS HICCUPS!

-

From presenters cr y-laughing over unintentional innuendos to an array of charming, strange and hilarious guests, This Morning has played host to many funny moments thanks to its easy-going nature, openness to change… and the fact that it’s live on air!

“The only inter view Eamonn and I have actually sat and prepped for was with Hillary Clinton!” admits Ruth.

“She was the US Secretar y of State then and was one of the most power ful women on the planet,” Eamonn continues. “But I threw to Rylan, I said, ‘Madam Secretar y of State if you could indulge us, there’s a young man across here and he has viewers’ comments to share,’ and Rylan said, ‘Hi Hills babe!’ She was like, ‘Oh hi, I’ve never been called babe before!’...I remember thinking ‘Oh my God, he’s just called Hillary Clinton ‘Hills babe!’”

Richard and Judy have also had many notable giggles, but Richard says the funniest involved Anna Chancellor. “We asked her why her character in Four Weddings and a Funeral was named ‘Duckface’, and she replied, in all honest innocence, ‘Oh, probably because in her backstory, like when she was at uni people called her f***face,’” chuckles Richard. “We immediately apologised on her behalf, but she cut in: ‘No, no – she would have been called f***face.’ Then she realised it was 11am on live daytime telly and burst into tears!”

“We didn’t get a single complaint – viewers thought it was hilarious!” laughs Judy.

“Oh my God, Rylan’s just called Hillary Clinton ‘Hills babe’!”
