Take the easy option and pop a frozen gammon joint in the oven. It’s an easy way to serve a choice along with the turkey, and you can pick them up at most supermarkets. Iceland does a honey glazed version (700g) for £3 that feeds up to four people. And if you’re dishing up more than one meat, it will stretch to even more servings!
Buy some individual frozen vegetarian dishes in case a family member has changed their diet and forgotten to tell you. If not, nothing’s wasted – and you can always eat them when you’re all sick of turkey!
